This is a periodically updated list with the most common and current issues and questions sent through support tickets to the Customer Support Department and Empower Network.
It is quite likely to find the answer of your question within this article, so before sending a ticket please have a look! :)
Q:May I move any leads collected in my EN Back Office to my Kalatu Cloud system?
A:Not at this point. Any leads collected in the EN Back Office could be only manually exported and then manually imported into Kalatu Cloud, but there is not automatic feature for that.
Q:I have upgraded to Total Shortcut Elite System for free, but I was charged only 6 days after I joined?
A:That is normal - when you join at the Basic level by paying $47, the system sets your next payment date in a month. But if you upgrade to Pro ($97 per month) or Elite ($197 per month), your next payment will come earlier - in 14 days or 6 days respectivelly, because of the difference in the fees for each.
Q:I have been active for a long time in quite a few products, and I understood I have been grandfathered into the new products now, but for some reason I do not see the Influence Automation Mastermind product qualified on my account, why is that?
A:There were various criteria required for our affiliates to be fully grandfathered into the new product packages (providing both the product itself and the resell rights to it). In order to receive the resell rights for the IAM product, a member had to be (at the same time):
-active affiliate
-active in all current products at that time (including the VIP Traffic Product)
Customers who have not met both criteria have only received the product, but not the resell rights to it. The option to get the receive rights as well is only by purchasing the appropriate license affiliate fees and following the qualification procedure.
This is one of our favourite and most-loved questions ever.
It is quite common people who have difficulties understanding new marketing methods (or new things in general), to anathematize whatever falls beyond their understandings. For centuries we have been burning and killing scientists who dare to invent new things that people are not yet prepared to hear. It is not the church who is guilty, it is simply our inert minds.
And, unfortunately, we have not evolved too much from these darks ages. Even now, whenever you hear about something revolutionary, your first thought is “Nah… impossible!”, right? But well, after all, good things are hard to believe, we have to admit that.
On the other hand, fraudsters and scammers are around and yes, they are trying to find a way to get your money. We have seen all kind of frauds - ponzi schemes, pyramids, games… And now, people who are offered a great opportunity, cannot accept such a thing could exist and just start to try to find a pattern in it, and they accuse it for being something it is not. Sounds familiar? We believe you have seen that in many other places in your daily life.
What if we told you…
Empower Network does not encourage any illegitimate practices
Empower Network pays huge attention to Compliance
Empower Network is here for 5 years and is here to stay
Empower Network has strict policies and rules which are publicly available
Empower Network has sold products to more than 200,000 customers for 5 years
… and we can make this list really big
would you believe it?
Imagine if you get yourself teleported a few centuries back through a time machine and you need to explain the people there that very soon a new invisible power will rule the world... and that power is electricity. Right, nobody will believe you, and you may end up at the balefire.
So, to the questions.
- Hey, is it a PYRAMID SCHEME?
You just need to have a basic, very basic understanding of how the Empower Network compensation plan works and you quickly realize how ridiculous this comparison is. We will not go too deep to explain this further - you have all the info exposed in the Knowledge Base, so you may quickly read and see that Empower Network does not have even the slightest resemblance to a pyramid scheme.
- Hey, is it a PONZI SCHEME?
This is even funnier. Basically every marketing model that gains momentum is quickly called a “ponzi scheme”. Empower Network is as close to a ponzi scheme as the GN-z11 galaxy is close to the Earth. But well, some people still believe the President is a reptile or the Earth is flat, so we do understand that it is not really easy to fight beliefs that are not supported by facts.
In fact, Empower Network has a so transparent payout model, that even putting the words “Empower Network” and “ponzi scheme” in a single sentence is an insult. We will leave the conclusions to you.
To recap.
Empower Network has nothing to do with any kind of pyramid structures, ponzi schemes or any other scam schemes.
Empower Network is in full compliance and consults with their lawyers regularly to ensure that the company is within full compliance and these lawyers address any legal claims made against Empower Network.
Empower Network has all the information exposed and accessible. Empower Network does not hide anything. We have a huge public knowledgebase as well as publicly availableIncome Disclaimer. For anything that might not be posted online we have a dedicaed Customer Service team always ready to help.
Empower Network does not promise a higher commission or return than what a customer pays for products. In fact, it has a completely transparent compensation model paying out between 20% and 80% upon a product sale.
So, what actually is EMPOWER NETWORK with one word?
Let's just say Empower Network is a tool. A tool you may use and be successful with, or not. Just like the pen for the writer, but with the small difference, that the pen does not teach the writer what to do, while Empower Network provides a full training from A to Z. So basically it is like a tool that does most of the work by itself. Pretty cool, right?
We will stop here - you may easily understand the rest by the positive reviews from our customers, the information we have all over the web and of course - the numbers. After all, numbers do not lie, even if people sometimes do. Right?
Empower Network Marketing Vocabulary
OR
Empower Network for beginners
(Frequently used terms in the marketing industry and EN in particular, that everyone should be aware of)
Account – refers to the membership, or to the database entry, that the member has created, and is often wrongfully equaled to “subscription”. The subscription is a recurring payment which keeps the account active.
Active or Paid Member – a person who has created an account and has completed the correspondent payment(s), activating the account, and receiving the correspondent paid access to the correspondent areas of the site, according to his membership
Affiliate – in the system we call “affiliate” every member who has activated their affiliate status
Affiliate fee - qualifying and being able to receive commissions upon selling products in Empower Network require a set of conditions to be met. One of the options to qualify for receiving commissions is by paying the correspondent Affiliate Fee for a product. By paying this fee a member could qualify for receiving commissions without purchasing the product itself. (Please note that this might not be the sufficient condition for the qualification. Some products require one pass-up sale as well.)
Affiliate link – in our system this refers to the URL links which our affiliates receive in order to advertise their system and join members. Affiliate links are called both the lead capture pages links as well as the direct join links or the blog URL coded with the id of the user at the end, passed up as a GET variable
Autoresponder – automated system which aims on collecting, organizing, managing and contacting leads, which come through capture pages and marketing campaigns.
Back Office – the pages accessible by paid members within Empower Network. Kalatu Blogging System and Kalatu Cloud are considered external systems which are not part of the Back Office.
Comped – a short for “Complimentary membership” - refers to a special status for members, who are not required to pay the monthly fees. This status is usually internal and still shows as “active” to the members in their back office. In some cases products could be internally marked as “comped” if they are part of a bundle, where no subscription fees are needed for all of the products within the bundle purchase.
Compensation plan – a set of predefined rules which specify how affiliates will be rewarded when they sell the products of the company to customers. Currently Empower Network is using a sophisticated and well balanced rank based compensation plan, allowing a fair commission distribution
Downline – refers to the complete chain of members who have signed up under a specific “sponsor”. By “downline” we usually mean all of the members in the full tree under the sponsor.
Grace – a term that specifies limited access for members that have outstanding payments. If that functionality is enabled, the members are usually set to 14 or 21 days Grace period, if their current subscription payment is not completed. During this period the members have limited access in the website.
Kalatu Blogging System – a blogging platform based on WordPress, designed and engineered to serve the customers of Empower Network in the best way possible in order to ensure a smooth process of publishing, storing and accessing blog posts and data. The system is a core product in Empower Network.
Kalatu Cloud - an internet marketing platform, a tool suite which contains variety of useful and automated communication and marketing systems, combined with attention and focus on creating and managing internet marketing campaigns with ease, automation and speed. The product is an essential part of the Total Shortcut System in Empower Network, but could also be purchased as a standalone system. Often customers refer to it as a really groundbreaking internet marketing platform, making the life of all marketers much easier! The system offers features like: Integrated video and audio email; Built-in HTML5 video hosting; Social media campaign automation; Extensive library of email templates; Webinar integration; Autoresponder and email triggers; Custom form builder and others.
Lead – a contact by a prospect. Leads are often collected via marketing pages called “Lead Capture Pages”.
Lead Capture Pages (also referred to as Squeeze Pages) – automated pages which have a few simple fields to be filled in, where interested prospects could leave their contact information if they like.
Lockdown – this refers to a limited functionality mode for members who has missed a payment and then have not completed it during the Grace period. After the Grace period expires, the accounts enter Lockdown mode, if this additional functionality is added. During this period the members have limited access in the website.
Member – refers to a person who has signed up and has an active account. In most of the cases when we say “member” we understand “active” or “paid” member.
Paid Members Area – all of the pages within the website, that are accessible by paid members, according to the level of their membership
Pass-up – usually refers to the sales that a member makes before completing qualification. These sales are not part of the downline for the current member, instead, they are redirected to an eligible member in the upline according to the compensation plan of the system.
Powerline – refers to specific chain (tree) of members under the current sponsor. The powerline is part of the downline. The powerline is defined by the specifics of the system and is determined by the admin who sets up the programs in the system. For example: If the system uses a 2-up compensation plan with 1st and 2nd sale powerline pass ups; then the powerline of the member will consist of: his third and any next direct sale; his first two sales of any of the third and next direct sales; then their first two sales and so on. Any third sale down the chain will start a powerline for the correspondent sponsor, and will no longer be part of the powerline of the current member. At the moment Empower Network is NOT using a powerline-based compensation plan, so this term does not refer to any part of EN at this point.
Prospect – refers to a person who is interested in the business but not a member yet. Could be called a “potential buyer” or a “potential customer”.
Qualification – this term refers to a process that is setup in the system, by the rules of which the members receive specific status in the system (e.g. becoming eligible for receiving commissions when selling a product). The qualification process usually requires a specific number of sales or other conditions and is further described within the ToS and compensation plan documents. In most of the cases a qualification status is not permanent – a member could go back to “unqualified” if some conditions are not met.
Sponsor – according to the specifics of the system, each new member signs up, using another (active) member’s affiliate link. The last one is referred to as “sponsor”, and the member who has signed up is usually referred to as “direct sale” or “sale” or sometimes “direct downline”, depending on the compensation plan.
Subscription – recurring payment, setup on an account (or a product). The recurring payment should keep the account active, the system adds a period to the account, each time the subscription charges the card.
Tier – this basically means a level up/down in the chain of joined members.
Upline – refers to the chain of sponsor’s sponsors. “Upline” could mean any sponsor undefined number of levels above the current member.

Note: Within Empower Network, every member has a Sponsor. Each new member signs up using an (active) Affiliate link. The Affiliate whose link is used is the Sponsor of that new member.
Choosing an Empower Network sponsor is a big decision, as this sponsor can hold a definitive role in your experience with Empower Network.
Generally, members join with the affiliate that has promoted the opportunity and/or products to them by signing up using their Affiliate link. Of course, it is your decision as to whom you choose as your Empower Network sponsor.
IMPORTANT: If you choose to be an affiliate with Empower Network, you may only have one sponsor. Excluding exceptions allowed by our Affiliate Agreement, Empower Network does not allow changes of sponsorship in order to uphold the integrity of the Commission Plan and downline structure.

Some technical issues are not always able to be duplicated and some areas of the site are difficult to describe.
When submitting a support ticket it may be helpful to take a screenshot and attach it to your support ticket to show the issue you are experiencing better.
This is specifically helpful when having issues with adding comments to the blog, dealing with editing/creating a blog post, or if some part of the site is not working at all (such as videos not appearing/playing).
Here is how to take a scrеenshot for Windows, MAC and iPhone/iPad.
1. Locate the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. The "Print Screen" button may be labeled "Prt Scn", "Prnt Scrn", "Print Scrn", or similar. On most desktop keyboards and the keyboards of bigger laptops, the button is usually found next to the "F12" and "Scroll Lock" keys. On laptop keyboards, you may have to press the "Fn" or "Function" key to access "Print Screen".
2. To take a screen shot of the screen, hit [PrnScn]. If you press ALT + [Prn Scn], it will only make a screenshot of your active window, but not the entire screen.
3. Open Microsoft Paint: Open the Start menu, click on "All Programs", click on "Accessories", and finally click on "Paint".

After you start the program, you may follow these easy steps in order to create a screenshot quickly:

3.Click on the diskette icon or select "File -> Save As" or press Ctrl-S in order to save the captured area as an image.
Press Command + Shift + 3. The screenshot is added to your desktop.

Once an Empower Network account is created, the username cannot be changed.
Attempts at changing a username within the Empower Network system creates broken communication between the Empower Network account and the GPG commission account that is (or can be) created and attached to the Empower Network account. Attempting to change your username will result in the inability for the site to communicate between sales pages and registering commissions to the correct affiliates. Basically, your account will not function correctly at all. Due to that, we do not allow a username change in Empower Network.
Note: As of August 28th 2014, new Empower Network members will have an auto-generated username and password. For more information, please visit this blog post.
Upper Management decided to make this change for a few different reasons. Most importantly, this change omits a few steps from of the sales process and therefore makes it more streamlined!
This was done with both you, the member, and your sponsor in mind.
Studies show that the longer a sign-up process is, the more disinterested (and possibly frustrated) the potential member becomes. This hurts conversion rates, and makes it more desirable to “just give up“.
At Empower Network, we want to dispel that attitude as much as we can!
The less you have to do, and the easier the checkout process is, the more we can spread our message and help all of our affiliates!
Empower Network currently has members located all over the world, and is able to do business with nearly 170 countries.
If your country of residence is found on the list of Countries in the “Country” drop-down menu on the following page, then we have the systems in place to do business with that region.

If you have additional questions on this topic, feel free to contact our Customer Support Department directly.
This article applies to all circumstances of changing sponsors including customer mistakenly signing up under wrong sponsor, or an affiliate not being active and a customer is placed under the sponsor above, or even due to an inactive sponsor.
This article supercedes ALL statements made in ANY video or training. This article is taken DIRECTLY from the Legal Terms of Empower Network that is agreed to upon joining.
Upon signup new customers are required to check a box next to the name of who their sponsor is going to be. When a customer checks this box it gives consent and agreement that the person's name who is appearing next to this check box is the person who is going to be their sponsor.
(PLEASE NOTE: if the sponsor you are joining with is not qualified to earn commissions for the particular product/system which you are joining at, then they are not eligible to receive commissions and you will be automatically placed with the eligible sponsor above them. You will not be moved back if the inactive sponsor you were joining with gets qualified at a later point. Affiliates MUST be qualified in order to receive commissions upon selling products.)
Our support staff cannot assist you or offer you advice regarding changing sponsors due to the fact that changing sponsors is against our Affiliate Policy agreement here:
https://www.empowernetwork.com/affiliate-policies.php
**********************************************************************
SECTION 3 - 4 - Change of Sponsor
An Affiliate may only have one sponsor. Empower Network prohibits changes in sponsorship except as provided below.
SECTION 3 - 4 - 1 - Cancellation and Re-application
An Affiliate may only change his or her Sponsor by voluntarily canceling his or her Affiliate Agreement and remaining inactive for six (6) full calendar months. ( i.e., no promotion or sponsor of sales of Empower Network products or services, no sponsoring, no attendance at any Empower Network functions, no participation in any other form of Affiliate activity, no operation of any other Empower Network business, and no income from the Empower Network business). Following the six month period of inactivity, the former Affiliate may reapply under a new Sponsor. In that event, the former Affiliate's Marketing Organization will remain in the original line of sponsorship and the former Affiliate will start back as new Affiliate with no downline.
**********************************************************************
If for any reason you do not wait the 6 month period before joining a new sponsor then our support staff cannot assist with any issues you may encounter with the new account and you will become at risk of having your affiliate account(s) suspended, commissions withheld and the inability to login and access your account(s).
All of our affiliates and customers have access to the same training within Empower Network allowing those who are not experienced to gain the same knowledge no matter their sponsor. This training is also available so that there is no need to change sponsors if the sponsor above does not have added knowledge/training to provide or is not able to give added training to their customers. For example, if you were unable to assist your new customers with more training they would not be moved to another sponsor because the same training is available to all.
This rule is to protect you and all Empower Network affiliates. Imagine that you signup a new customer with your affiliate link, and this new customer discovers that Empower Network has big marketers on board that make a fortune. You will not want your members to abandon you, right? You have invested time and efforts to promote your business and sell them Empower Network products, so it will not be fair if they simply go under a different sponsor just like that.
There is 1 condition under which a change of sponsor is granted.
1. The original sponsor has been found to have purposely violated the terms of the Empower Network Affiliate Agreement or the Terms of Use of the site.
*ALL Affiliates of Empower Network are instructed to point to the training resources within the Empower Network system in order to assist and answer their customer's questions. Therefore, a reason of a sponsor pointing a customer to the training and resources of Empower Network, instead of answering questions with details or additional training directly from the sponsor, is not considered an exceptional circumstance and will not be considered for reason to change sponsors. All customers and affiliates are provided with the same access to training within Empower Network products.
